Permanent School Fund
Constitutional Ballot Measure
With bipartisan backing, voters will be asked if the state constitution should be amended so that schools would receive more support from a trust fund that has been growing since Minnesota’s early statehood. Voting YES in November does NOT raise property taxes or ask to approve a levy or referendum.
This measure would increase the percentage that schools receive from the Permanent School Fund.
If passed, Detroit Lakes Schools would receive more than $90,000. See how much money your school district could receive HERE.
